A Brief History
Seiryoku, originally formed in the small game world of Ragnarok Online (RO) with roots tracing back to a wayworn group of friends with a community on IRC, is a World of Warcraft guild playing on Mug’thol and originating from Bleeding Hollow.
n RO, at the height of their time, Seiryoku were members of the strongest alliance to grace the server Loki. When World of Warcraft came out the core members of Seiryoku left the RO world and entered Azeroth, server Archimonde. Alas, the Burning Lagion quickly threw the server into chaos and the band of heroes regrouped on the server Bleeding Hollow. Sheltered within this bloody crevasse, they quickly began enjoying successes brought on by the members from RO. Later that year, the majority of members from Seiryoku merged with The Black Death and formed Cryptic Union which quickly became one of the server's best raiding guilds, felling friend and foe alike. Soon after, many members, including members still in the old Seiryoku, left to the server Mug'Thol. There many felt the need to reform Seiryoku and continue to explore, conquer, and relive fictional glory with a familiar name floating above their heads. Shortly thereafter a movement was started within the guild to foster a family atmosphere rather than an environment that cannibalizes its own faster than the Undead. This movement would come to be known as the Erillian Dynasty, an experiment in virtual social construction where real world leadership principles were applied to achieve sustainable mature group dynamics. Chaka, the self-styled dictator, would find himself in charge of directing the You’re Recruited! virtual reality show. Many long time friends would constructively contribute to the necessary drama quota in order to approximate real life situations. D-Rod would find himself in charge of public relations where, in between swimming breaks, he put together immodest self-glorifying slogans like that of which one finds concluded this historical brief.
We stand here before you today, as ONE. One guild, one family, one entity. We play the game for fun and our progress in raiding is thanks to the efforts put forth by its members, not because we spend 35 hours a week inside the instance.
